Winter upgrades
I'm getting ready for some winter up grades. I want to put a 23" front wheel on my wide glide will I need to get raked bushing to keep the handling close to stock? Also plan to put a new rear tire on bit I really like Avon tires and can't find the 180/60/17 I can fine a avon 190/60/17 or go with the 190/55/17 to get alittle more take off power from the bike will that fit I know it's alittle wider then the stock tire. Or is there anyone that makes a good grippy 180/60/17 rear tire? Thanks

I have no idea what a rake bushing is. Raked.bearing cups in the neck, maybe? Does going to the 23" push your rolling diameter way up? If so, you maybe meed to lower the front end a bit.

here is a little chart online to help with tire height
I raised my rear shocks 3/4" but lost that height with the tire so it balances out.
METZELER ME880 MARATHON 170/60R-17 M/C 78V dia 25.031 cir 78.637 Metz with the higher excellent tire weight rating! (78V) best for two up.
DUNLOP K591 160/70B-17 M/C 73V, REAR 25.819 81.113
