so, after installing my pcIII usb on my 07 bobit ran great for a couple days, no problems at all, then it started backfiring alot on decel and i am getting a fault code P1004 and then it gives a part # after it 34454-076
i also noticed that the whining noise you hear from the fuel injection when you first turn the key is really loud when the bike is running and i never heard it at all previous to this, i dont know what that part # is, i pulled my PCIII off and went back to the regular ECM, i am coming up on 1000 miles and will be going to the dealer, anyone have anything to offer?

 

P1004 - System Relay Contacts Closed

Have no idea what it means though.

 

I realize this is old but did you ever get an answer to the code and what to do about it?
