Ain't that a...
So I've been through this Memorial weekend without riding more than a total of a half hour on Friday due to rain all weekend. Wake up today and it's of course a beautiful day...about 83 degrees, sunshine, low wind....perfect. So I get ready to go for a ride, walk out to the bike...
Flat tire.
Don't know where or when it happened, but it is as flat as flat can be. I tried putting air in but it rushes out as fast as it goes in so at this point I'm assuming that I'll be replacing my tire tomorrow...since no one is open today. I guess the only good thing to come of it will be that I can upgrade to the "wide" 180 when I buy a new tire tomorrow.

Don't feel to bad. Picked up mine on Friday, got it home and locked the forks to see if it worked. It worked so well that it won't unlock. So much for my weekend rides I had planned. Just have to laugh sometimes.
The air rushes out because........is this a tubeless tire? If so, the bead has broken loose from the rim and this prevents air from inflating the tire.
Put the bike on a stand and wrap a tie down around the circumference of the tire. You will probably need to use two tie downs linked together. Crank them down good and this will force the tire beads back onto the rim. Now you can get it inflated. You still have to plug the leak of course.......pg

I put dice caps on my fill valves and a rubber o-ring from the cap pushed my shrader vaulve down and let all the air out of my rear tire......check to make sure there is nothing lodged in you shrade valve such as a rock or small debrie, also make sure the shrader is screwed in all the way.
