2014 FXDB, wanting to upgrade all my turn signals (and eventually headlight) to LED. Looking at the Custom Dynamics full kit with the Signal Stabilizer - is my bike CAN BUS/ BCM compliant? And will the signal stabilizer be enough to add the LED headlight later? Thanks!
Bikes built after 2013 shouldn't need a load stabilized. Your turn signals flash at the correct speed, but your indicators flash faster. To correct this, you turn key on engine off and turn your hazard lights on for about 5 minutes. The bcm will adjust the amperage to correct the flash rate of the indicators.
Supposedly this only works on 2014 and up, however my friend did it on his 13 sportster and it worked.
