Default Thunder Max

So I am interested in possibly having a security system installed on my 2009 Street Bob. It has the thunder max tuner on it. My question is

1. Is it possible?

2. Does anyone know the cost or an idea of how much?

Thanks in advance.

Bob

I don't know if the security system has anything to do with the Thundermax. I have the factory security (TSSM) and when I installed the Thundermax and I don't recall having to do anything with the security when setting it up. Still, that was several years back.
Maybe someone here has done that, but anyway I would contact Zippers and make sure what you want to do will be compatible with the tuner.

Anytime you have ANY question about TMX, don't hesitate to ask Zippers, they have an excellent customer service dept, before and after purchase.

I send them diagnostics every couple years just to have them check things out, they have always responded quickly with anything I needed to do, or to let me know all is good.

While these guys know and support Tmax, You'd probably be better off going with straight to thunderheart. Up until about 2 years ago, Zippers supported Thundermax EFIs but have since let Thunderheart take over support... They are very good at getting back to you in 24 hours with any questions asked if you use their support email line.. This pretty much includes all Tmax EFIs under warranty or not.. The main reason for this was quicker turn around..

I dont suppose a TM is all that diff to hookup than the Power Commander 5. I just put it in a week or so back and the connector to the ECM had no other obstacles in my way. You should be able to hook it right up.

The Thundermax installation is a bit more involved since the stock ECM is replaced, along with different O2 sensors. But still not a big job.
I don't think it has anything to do with the security system so that shouldn't be an issue.
