I have a 2003 ultra,it came without a security system.i can get a hold of a used security system.so my question is how hard are they to install?
I assume you are talking about the factory TSSM. It's not too hard to install; however, the bike won't run after it is installed until you get it to a dealer, as it needs to be configured to "talk" to the ECM, which can't be done without using Harley's proprietary software and computer hook-up. After that, it is very easy to add the siren and pager, both of which are options. It may be a good idea to check with H-D to see if the TSSM which has already been installed and "married" to an ECM can be re-programmed to work with an ECM on another bike before you buy a used unit.
