Someone gave me excellent advice that worked like a charm on my road glide install two days ago. Put the gaskets in the freezer the day before and bring them right from the freezer to the exhaust ports. The cold shrinks them enough so (mine did at least) they slip right in. You may need to hold them for a minute or two while they expand as they warm up, but it was amazing how well it worked.
Thanks!! I wanted to do this tonight but I can wait until tomorrow
Yeah what he said, new gaskets, bolt everything together loosely to begin with. Once it's all on the bike looking good start tightening it down starting at the heads, then mounts then clamps. Take your time and you should have any problems. Have a good xmas.
Yeah that's how I'm planning on it. Saw that some people build it off the bike but that seems to lead to issues getting it fitted right.
Running the same TBR on my LRS, but with a Thundermax tuner. Sounds great. Runs strong. Some fitment issues and leaks at the collector, hopefully u don't get. But straight forward install, doubt you'll have issues installing.
I've got the same exhaust and tuner with the Fuel Moto tune for it. It really made a difference on this bike. I didn't have any issues with leaks. I did have to adjust my brake pedal to gain clearance.

Thanks. I'll be cautious on making sure everything is seated correctly.

Very glad to hear! How did you get the new exhaust gaskets in? I'm freezing them now per the earlier suggestion.
