Got a Two Brothers Racing 2-1 exhaust and a Power Vision 2 fuel controller with a canned map from Fuel Moto. Hopefully I'll have a chance to install it tomorrow or the next day!
While I've never installed an exhaust on an HD, I have done it before. That being said, a smart man learns from his mistakes, a wise man learns from the mistakes of others. Any advice?
Yeah what he said, new gaskets, bolt everything together loosely to begin with. Once it's all on the bike looking good start tightening it down starting at the heads, then mounts then clamps. Take your time and you should have any problems. Have a good xmas.
Someone gave me excellent advice that worked like a charm on my road glide install two days ago. Put the gaskets in the freezer the day before and bring them right from the freezer to the exhaust ports. The cold shrinks them enough so (mine did at least) they slip right in. You may need to hold them for a minute or two while they expand as they warm up, but it was amazing how well it worked.

Got the garage cleared out enough to move the bike in (just moved in and still unpacking). I had to ride through the snow to get home from work....in southern CA...lol
