i'm installing cams (woods 555) in my fxdb 2011. One of the procedures in manual called for check on relief bypass on cam plate. My seems to be 3mm shorter than one in manual (it's very specific). I took it out and checked - it moves fine, doesn't get stuck.
I ordered axtel relief bypass valve, but should I replace plate just to be safe?
All that measurement means is checking the piston goes all the way down the bore. If yours does you're good to go. If it doesn't, polish the bore/piston until they do. I don't think the Axtell is worth the money. Fixing a problem that doesn't exist.
