Ok guys ,does anybody have a part number for a disc (rotor) spacer kit so I can use my stock mid glide wheel on a switchback front end ? Failing that anyone know the size difference in the hubs ? Or tell me what size spacer I'll need ? ...... FSKITCH sure you'll be able to point me in the right direction ! ;-)
Cheers

Phog-you should continue to use the original post to ask questions and show your project. We're going to need pictures too.
Heres a link to a spacer I bought a couple years ago. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1-4-THICK-RE...ZRziW7&vxp=mtr
Pictures of actual rotor/pulley spacer below
Before I went with the FL front I used Fat Bob trees with stock 49mm street bob forks with a 16" softail wheel. The way I figured I needed a 1/4" Pulley/rotor spacer was set the wheel in place with the rotor attached to the wheel and sliding an axle through and clamping the caliper to the rotor. Measure what I needed to get the tire dead center. In my case the 1/4" spacer did the trick. Once you figure how much you need for spacing search eBay-they have all sizes. In your search use the key words **" harley rotor spacer. Also may need to use key word **" harley pulley spacer.
Check out this area of the forum for FL dynas https://www.hdforums.com/forum/group...est-group.html
Lots of good info for ya.
I don't know if this will help or not. But I have a set of softail slim wheels in my garage for my next project and the front hub is 6.5". I think thats what a switchback front end accepts-but I believe softail wheels are laced with an off set. Or maybe this just ads to the confusion.
Thanks fskitch ,not sure that would do the trick tho , need to know the width of a wideglide hub compared to a midglide hub ,then a rotor spacer to take up the difference,I've emailed hawg halters to see if they make one, doesn't seem to be anyone over this side of the pond knows what I'm talking about !!
