bad news
Well folks sorry to admit this but sh96 has fallen under the category of injured list. Last saturday evening i was out on the bike. It has just got done raining, went around a turn, hit some ash on the side of the road, and the bike came out from under me. The bike skided down the road about 50ft then another 50ft in a yard with me along with it. I ended up with a broken collar bone,some nasty road rash to both hands and on my right arm. Altogeather the bike i feel got out of this the easiest. A new tank, and foward contral on the left side and it will be back to new. But for the next 3-5 weeks, im confined to my home. only to see how beautiful it is out, an hear a faint roar of a v-twin headed down the road.

Sorry to hear this, take your time getting better !
Last year I crashed my custom on the freeway, my shoulder still hurts...
but didn't break anything, just road rash on my arms (cuz i didn't wear a jacket, i know....),
I just got busted up a bit... bike was totalled (caught fire), and now I have a street bob....

thanks guys, it really means alot, this is why i love this forum. awsome ppl.
Checked with my local guy and ebay around $400 the bike wiil be back on the road.[sm=icon_rock.gif]

I've been there before. Except this was in a parking lot,I couldn't pull out of a parking spot because of someone leaving another spot close to me. Get well some and be careful out there.
