air cleaner cover
I went to buy the HD air cleaner cover with the chrome flames and the parts guy says it probably won't fit my Ness Big Sucker. Now, the old football has been coveringup the Big Sucker for about 10 months so I'm thinking he doesn't know left from right and that the round HD cover would fit also. I'm out of state right now and my home town dealer doesn't have the right style or give a HOG discount on parts so I was wondering if anyone can assure me that the round air cleaner covers will indeed fit Ness Big Suckers. Thanks.

It will fit. I asked my indy guy the same question last week about my flame cover and he said it will bolt right up.
I'm putting a Big Sucker on in about two weeks and wanted to retain the cover I already had to keep the look I have been working towards.
I have found most parts jockeys don't have much of a clue as to what will fit onto what. I tend to reserve these types of questions for the wrench monkeys and the good peeps on this forum who have done it themselves.
