So I have been looking at air cleaners for my 2015 Ultra. Do the Rushmores require specific air cleaners? The Big Sucker I already had from my 13 Wide Glide said it fit all the V-twins but when I pulled the cover off I noticed it would not work. The ones I am looking at like the Arlen Ness Inverted or Roland Sands say they fit 08-15, so would I be correct in assuming they will fit the Rushmores? Thanks
I bought a Arlen ness that said it fit 08 thru 14's last year. Got it and it was wrong, clock on the backing plate was off as you probably saw on yours. So make sure its for 14 and up air cleaner.
The kits for the older bikes fit just fine..........as long as you aren't wanting to keep your stock 14+ cover. Nothing changed on the throttle bodies. I have a Big Sucker on mine that says fitment up to 13 - I didn't plan on keeping the stock cover, like this way better.
I think I am going to go with the Screaming Eagle air cleaner on my 14. That is the one that looks like the one on the 110 engines. I think it looks nicer than the big round thing on there now. When I do the Stage 1 I will add that.
The thing I don't like is that black rubber hose, whatever it is on the left side of the air cleaner. It seems to stay on the bike whatever air cleaner you choose.

I put my SE intake from my 2011 RK on my 2015 RGS. I bought a new filter (optional) and used the cover plate I had made for it. Worked fine.
I then wanted to use the stock AC cover (for trips, when it rains) so I looked up the SE kit for 2014-15 # 29400129 and ordered 4 pieces from the kit parts breakdown:
Air cleaner cover adapter 29400159
Spacer, air cleaner cover adapter 29400161
Air cleaner cover screw 29327-94 (it's longer)
Optional: A-C cover insert 61300299
I like the look of the new a/c cover so I will probably just leave it on.
