Default Bike Cover Recommendations

Does anyone have an affordable, yet durable bike cover recommendation? By durable i mean it won't tear apart in a year or two.

My bike lives in the garage, so it's basically a dust cover. I know people use sheets or blankets, but my young kids would pull that off.

I had a Harley one for a while, but when I put 14" bars on my bike, the cover ended up at about halfway up the wheel so I sold it for cheap to a pal with a sporty. I'm not really looking to spend $120 on a cover again.

I see the "affordable" eBay covers but really question the figment and quality.

Let me know what's out there! Thanks fellas.

for christmas, my brother bought me just a cheap nylon cover. its a lot bigger than what i need for my street glide, guessing it will also fit a bike with a tour pack. but my bike stays in the garage and is just a dust cover, it works perfectly fine for me. I don't need it to be heavy duty, since it doesn't see any of the elements

Thanks, but looking to avoid HD brand and the $100 price tag. I guess basically the point of my thread is to see if anyone has any real world use of the cheaper ones and how they're holding up and how they fit. I see these $15-$50 ones and wonder if we're really paying $100 for a bar and shield logo.

If there is a Cyclegear store in your area check them out. If it doesn't fit you can bring it back and get the right one.

I use a dowco guardian ultralight. I got a large and it fits a little tight around my bars, but loose everywhere else. Like your's mine also stays in a garage year round, so it's mainly to keep the dust off. Also works to keep kid size hand prints from mysteriously appearing on the paint.
