Hope all goes well now, as I said I thought one of my batteries was not strong enough to turn bike over, ended up changing battery in FOB and bike fired right up.

i cant figure this darn thing out... so last night i pulled out the battery put it on my charger and it was at a full charge with in minutes. next i pulled out the battery box to check all the connections again, everything was tight. i put everything back together and turned on the bike and clicked the start button to make sure everything was good to go, but i didnt actually start the bike. just turned the starter over a couple of times. turn bike off and went in for the night. when i tried to start it this morning, the first push it didnt every turn the starter over, push again and same thing, on the third try it started but it was kinda weak sounding. any ideas?? i guess im gonna have to try another battery after all, i didnt get the battery yesterday, instead i had it tested and they said it tested good.
They may have 'tested' your battery but to me you're riding the best tester of all; the battery shows a complete charge in just a few minutes yet takes multiple attempts before it can even weakly spin up the bike
If you could park the bike and hold off for a few days the Yuasa is worth it...
Terry Components 4 gauge battery cables; the OEM are 6 gauge, these will give you less voltage drop on a start. You'll need to remove the battery box and I believe you'd need to loosen the ABS module to get the room to install them on your Wide Glide but with the charging and starting systems on these bikes less than optimal I'm trying to get everything I can!
Phat is my go-to for most orders and their customer service is great. You could always call them if you wanted those Terry Components cables; they could add them to your order, give you that 5% discount you forgot to use, now you're over $99 so it all ships for free. Should put you right around $135
ok! you convinced me to get the cables too. i called them and he said they would try and get them added to the order.
i was doing some reading about testing the battery, from what i can tell it my battery is about to crap out. it tests at 12.5v just sitting there then when i hit the start button it drops to 10v.

Yes indeed, she's on her way out. Normally with a fully charged battery, left to sit 24 hours off the Tender you should see 12.8 volts. At 12.5 volts that's in the 60% charge range so replacing the battery is the right call.
I thought with you putting in the new Yuasa you'd be right there at the battery box anyway so the cable upgrade made sense
pretty cool ordering from Phat... my stuff is out for delivery today! looks like they had it sent from a distributor in Ft worth. i pulled out the old cables last night, working around that dang ABS pump was a pain. i would hate to have to dig the started out from in there...

I figured it would be a pain working around that ABS module which is why I mentioned it. My bike being non-ABS was easy but I still pulled out the battery box when I installed the cables. With the Terry Components cables the auxiliary cable will feed off the connector at the battery instead of at the transmission but it won't make any difference at all. You'll need to crimp on a loop connector for the auxiliary cable that goes under the seat.
Phat is always good to go, I've ordered parts on Sunday afternoon's and had them in my hands Wednesday morning; and their price on the Yuasa is the best out there
Edited to add: When the Yuasa is delivered put in on your Tender and let her hit a full charge/solid green while you put in the cables.

Well I can definitely say the battery issue is resolved now. Just got a chance to ride a little today, and with then new cables and battery it starts up like a champ now. I even had it sitting a few days off the tender and it still fired right up. Thanks again for the help and suggestions.
