I love those fairings. I keep going back & forth on it myself. But I highly expect I'll eventually give in and do it.
Sounds like that might be a while until it's produced. How about running the Ultima S&S clone until then?
Yep, I would certainly get their opinion first.
The S&S clone sticks out with the adapter about 1.5 inches so I can't bolt my intake to the carb.

Nope, I sold it but I should have this one done soon (I hope)

As far as the intake, why not run a XXX S&S G carb? You will never miss the Mik-
I was thinking about selling the 80 inch, why shouldn't I?
Because I already have a brand new Mikunni in a box on my shelf LOL

Really?
You won't sell a whole engine cause you have a 200. Carb on the shelf? I am gonna guess you spend more than 200 clams on beer, cigarettes, or whatever fun you have in a month-Sell the carb, and sell the engine. Don't do things *** backwards...

I was answering both of your replies separately, as in why shouldn't I sell the stock evo. Then the reason why I don't get a Super G carb is because I have a brand new HRS 45 (which is a tad more than 200 bucks)
As I opened the thread I was thinking of all the "Build" threads on these forums which are usually little more than bars, Stage 1, wheels and a seat, and was like....... HOLY CRAP! Now this is a proper build thread. You certainly have outstanding skills and vision. Can't wait to see what you end up with, when you started with an already amazing machine.

A little update, finally got my forks done(one was quite the mother ****er to come apart) installed my Racetech gold valves and new springs. A long with the SM preload adjusters.
Mocked up the new front wheel, I'm thinking about getting it chromed though, the machined finish doesn't look that great next to all that polished aluminum.
Also mounted the rear wheel so I could install the inner primary then ran into a massive problem that I THINK I have figured out. (I bolted and torqued the motor to the trans already and that why the inner primary won't line up.)
I think this bike is gonna look killer when it's done!
That "Brand new motor" well a LONG story short, that dude that built it didn't know what he was doing. I found the rotor bolt of the ign pick-up broke off in the cam. So I had someone go through it and make it 100%.
After that was all said and done, I throw the 120 back in the frame. Throw my primary together. I then realize I have to trim on my top motor stabilizer to get my Mikuni to fit.
I installed my new custom bars
That's where I'm at for now pretty much, I still have to wire the bars, Ign throw the exhaust on. Bolt the rear shocks up and I'm ready to ride FINALLY!
