Default Street Bob Changes over the years

What are the significant changes since 2010 on the Street Bob?

Did the engine size change at all?

i think the 103 started in 2012 or 2013.

did you go ride them all yet? i hope you aren't focusing solely on the street bob. you may kick yourself for it later. you may find a better equipped bike for the same mmoney.

Seems like 2013 had both 96 and 103 as an option. Ever since 2014 they are all 103

Yes I tested the bob and liked it. I buy on looks and dont care much about equipment except for ABS. Everything else can be added ( shocks, seat, etc). The only other option is low rider but I like the looks of bob better. SB has the best ground clearance among all the HD line up too.

look through this thread... you will see common upgrades and that may have some bearing on your bob love.

2014+ have 103 engine
2013+ black lower forks with side mounted license plate and the 2 tail lights for running/brake/signals
No big brake light

I think that's about it. If you're going with stock appearance I agree that the Street Bob is the best looking Dyna next to the Wide Glide.

One major change was the integrated risers for the handlebars on the triple tree. You have many more options if you have normal risers. I'm not sure which year it changed, I think it was around 2011-2012.

2010 was the only model that came with a chrome fork lowers
Main changes since then:
  • More black (heads, fork lowers)
  • No more donkey dick tail light
  • Switch to can bus
  • Ditched the intergrated risers
  • Trip button moved from dash to the bars
  • 2010 didn't have a dash mounted ignition so you had to put your key in the neck (all the time) pain in the neck (pun intended)
