It took 5 trips to different dealers, but I finally got my vibration solved on my 06 WG!!
It was a buzzing kind of vibration in the handlebars, starting at 2500, and shifted to include the pegs and seat by 2800. Time after time of dealers aligning and checkiing mounts, one finally says that he thinks it's my SE pipes. He rode an 07 and my 06, and said they were the same vibration. I rode the 07 WG, and noticed a HUGE difference. his suggestion was to put the stock pipes back on, but who wants to do that?
I then rode a used 06 WGthey had, but the PO had installed Python pipes like the V&H Big Shots Staggered. absolutely no vibration except some peg vibration as it passed through 2500. smooth as could be above and below 2500. So i got some V&H BSS and it cured the hand and foot numbing vibration!!!!
Went and talked to the service guy the other day to let him know the good news, and he is going to report it to the MoCo. While he was discussing my problem with them, they alsosaid the saddlebags could cause the same thing, since they are just mounted at the top withthe fender bolts.
RE: buzz vibration solved...and it wasn't the mount!
I think it's all in the mounting. the stock ones have a tube, and the mufflers hang off the back from there, whereas the V&H and Python have a 1/4" thick plate for a bracket, with not so much loose pipe hanging off the back.

...i get the same thing from my V and H slip-ons....oh well....i have my eyes on some Cobra Dragsters, though
slip-ons can mess things up....well....just because, i suppose ....the hardware involved and the seams...who knows....best to go with a solid, single system!
RE: buzz vibration solved...and it wasn't the mount!
Hey Guys, I had the same issues. Hands going to sleep, feet geting numb, ect....I also have SE11 slip-on's. I installed a set of thunder monster baffels and the vibration is gone. I thought alot about this and chalked it up to chance. I am glad to hear this now I know I'm not completley crazy. Thanks for the post.

While I think that the exhaust setup does affect vibration, I'm not sure there is one cure that will work for all. My ride does not have bad vibration to the point that it's numbing, but it does resonate at certain rpm - first smooth, then vibrates, then smooth after. The pipes do affect this, but as Cajun mentioned, I too think it's just a matter of chance. I had the SEII slip ons last season, and recently changed to the V&H BSS. I felt that the vibration was a little bit less with the SEII. Additionally, the SEII vibration was less than the stock setup. I believe it's a number of factors working together
