Finally got around to replacing the pancake beeper horn on the LRS with Harley's extra loud horn. Doesn't look as good, but it's loud and will wake up the sleeping cages. Took all of 5 min after going back to get a damn 10mm wrench. Why oh why would you do that Harley?
I'll bet it's really cool; but keep fully in mind, they still won't hear you
If you've got time to hit the horn button that's time you've just wasted when you should have used it in an evasive action. The horn is completely useless, I only use it to keep squirrel's from venturing out in to the road...
I had some dual horn setup on an '83 BMW K100RT, don't know if it was stock, I bought the bike used with 3k on it, great bike, toured all over Europe on it. Horns sounded like a Cadillac.
I'd like to remove mine completely, abstructs the view of the motor.
They could take a 7" headlight and build it so the horn could be mounted in the bottom of the headlight shell, make a grate for it pointed down out the bottom.
I think they'd sell like hot cakes
And how often does someone rightfully get to use the pancake/bunny emoji thing!
That horn should be free with the purchase of those hideous seats you keep buying
That's actually really funny. Thanks for the laugh.
And Tin, I use the horn simultaneously while either evading, or planing it. Plus I use it mostly when approaching an intersection or someone who looks like they need a wake up.
I took my horn off 3 years ago when I decided to chop the horn mount off the motor mount to clean up the primary side of the motor. I intended on relocating it under the battery somewhere, but it's still sitting on the shelf.
That's actually really funny. Thanks for the laugh.

Excellent! Approaching intersections or when there's a chance of a vehicle pulling out I use the SMIDSY weave along with hitting the low beam/passing switch several times as I do the SMIDSY weave and it's been a very effective technique to get the attention of zoned out drivers.
