Default 2010 Dyna FXD TSSM/TSHF Problems, after battery replacement?

Just replaced the battery, initially blew the ignition fuse? Not sure if that has anything to do with the ongoing problem (but thought it may be worth a mention)?

Since battery replacement, the TSSM seems to me in an error mode loop from what I can tell so far?

I bought the bike pre-owned from a dealer with the original instruments removed and replaced with a Dakota Digital single bullet Instrument Panel, so I do not have access to the TSSM FOB code or a security (key icon) indicator.

Here's what's working:
- Ignition
- Headlight
- Taillight
- Brake Light
- Bike runs fine

What's not working:
- TSSM indicator when key is switched off (only a weak single flash, only rear signals)
- Turn signals
- Flashers (hazard lights)

I have attempted the following reset procedure from the forum:

For 2001 and up Harley Davidsons with TSSM Security Module, (key icon displays when key is turned to ignition position)

if your security light stays on for a prolonged period of time, if you have changed your battery or disconnected your battery when fitting components such as LED turns & if you have fitted LED turns without a load equalizer, you will need to reprogram your OEM Module.

text in red below step procedure is confirmation of action, always wait for confirmation before hitting the next step:

step # 1. move handle bar kill switch to off position

step # 2. turn your ignition key: on-off, on-off then on

step # 3. hit the left turn signal twice.
your turn signals and indicator light will flash 1 - 3 flashes

step # 4. hit the right turn signal once.
turn signals and indicator light will flash once.

step # 5. hit the right turn signal once.
turn and indicator signals will flash twice.

step # 6. hit right turn signal once.
turn and indicator signals will flash three times.

step # 7. hit left turn signal once.
turn and indicator signals flash to indicate error code
(see error code thread)

step # 8. to now clear codes, hit left turn signal and hold down for 6 seconds until confirmation.
turn and indicator signals flash twice.

step # 9. turn the ign switch to off

RESULTS:

At step 3: Receiving a single flash from the Left Turn Signal (rear only) followed by a single flash from the Right Turn Signal (rear only).

After that any attempt to continue with the reset procedure results in NO indication from the signals at all.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Going to speak with a tech at the dealer today and will post any updates/fixes here.

Thanks Much

Probably best to start a new thread. The Dyna area may not be the best. Try the Touring section.
