Haha thanks tincupchalice then I just plug in and flash right
Basically. It's not difficult to use at all; I keep saying the 2 smartest things I bought for this EFI Wide Glide is the Power Vision and a J&S lift.
Dynojet has videos out there that can help you see the process in action; I actually like auto tuning; the bike will run like crap during the actual run but with every new map, she gets better and better. Dyno shmino, don't need it; the Power Vision is a great product Target Tune for the Power Vision is on my agenda soon; I'm always chasing the horizon, always wanting perfection!
I went with the PV from FM also. Extremely pleased with both companies. I had it mounted with Velcro on my stock S bullet fairing. Switched to a HD 1/4 fairing and am now using the supplied FM bar mount. The empty mount is for my phone.
Auto tune basic is built right in to the Power Vision; and it's accurate. I've done over 2 dozen auto tune runs with the auto tune basic and the bike is fantastic; I have no complaints at all. Me adding the Target Tune is nothing more than I'm a perpetual student and want to learn more about how things work.
Out of the box your Power Vision is ready to go. Before you plug it in to your ride for the first time install the WinPV software in your computer and verify you're running the latest firmware on your Power Vision. From there, plug it in, your original tune is saved and you flash the Fuel Moto supplied tune...
