Hey guys i have a quick question regarding installing works shocks

i watched a video that said to install the washer #2 then the shock (and the bushings etc it comes with) then install another #2 washer then the nut

however on the standard shocks as you can see if i am getting rid of #12 shouldnt i also lose one of the washers? it all seems to line up pretty good

 

Yeah, lose one of the outer washers. I did the same thing.

Honestly, if your #2 washers were as thin as mine it wouldn't be a terrible idea to replace them with stainless flat washers or machine bushings from the hardware store. The lone #2 washer buckles and distorts pretty bad without the cover and second washer for support. It's not a showstopper, tho. Try it and see what you think.
