Its a pretty simple install. Get your bike raised securely so the rear wheel is off the ground. Remove the shocks. Lower bolts use the torx socket and a 3/4 wrench for the nut on the inside.
Install the metal sleeve into the rubber shock bushing with the shoulder twords the inside facing the spacers. Then install them and torque to specs. If you are going with a different length shock you may need to adjust the belt tension.

thanks that my issue is the length..i got 12.5 not sure if thats the same length. watched revilla vid and they put shims under the tires for stability when shocks removed and to shim so the holes align if diff lengths.

You can do that if you want, I just use my jack to take the bike up or down as needed.

Wink

I used a scissor jack whan changing my shocks, initially to take the weight of the bike while removing them both. Do slacken all bolts while the bike is on the ground first and only tighten up once back on two wheels. With both shocks off the bike and the wheel resting on the ground I then carefully adjusted the jack so I could put on the first shock, etc.

I weigh about 200# and when I called Progressive to get their suggestion, the tech I talked to said that if I ride 2 up much at all, get the 412 HD's. I did and have ridden happily ever after.
