No I played with all of the settings and only the highest ones actually impacted recording time. I contacted GoPro and they said that that time frame was correct for a 32GB card. When I pointed out how much longer it records for in the older versions they had no comment. Literally would answer every other question in the email and ignore that one multiple times.

I don't think I have that one. I'll check later.

I'll tell you what, for the price, I may pick that INNOVV up that you mentioned in your initial post. two cameras, always running, never have to worry about start and stop. I watched some vids, its not perfect quality, but for half the price of a Hero5 black, I think it's worth it.

HD electrical connection upgrade kit 72673-11 for $18 or less is the way to go for the power connection. Plugs into the diag connector in the electrical caddy and provides 3 crimp connectors providing, I think, ground, switched 12v, unswitched 12v, off of the 15A P&A fuse.

Sometime I feel sorry for you guys working within warranty constraints. Of course, at the same time, if something on my ride breaks...it's 100% on me.

Thanks for the info guys. And yeah I do have a warranty still. By the time I'm back from deployment it'll almost be over though.

Anyone have a good spot to mount it without shaking too much?

I have some Samsung and Kingston and neither of those would record for more than an hour or so, evidently the memory isn't fast enough..

I picked up a Lexar and have had no issues recording since

My son's Stealth instructions warned specifically AGAINST Samsung. Same paper recommended Sandisk Extreme. So far, So good.

I forgot to look but once mentioned that is the same brand I have.

The damn GoPro company just set it up to record different and now you get shitty times with a 32GB card!
