Default Front plug wire retainers

Installed new plugs and wires on my 07 today and there are two retainers for the front plug that are not reusable so anyone know if any are made that are reusable,my only option is to use a zip tie and not really wanting to do that.

I used two small zip-ties and a half-inch piece of a larger one, with little holes drilled in each end. Not my idea, I stole it from someone else on HD forums. It's neat, cheap and does the job.

I replaced the oem plug wire holder above the horn with a generic insulated cable/wire clamp available at most hardware stores:

It looks like a trip to the hardware store for one of those insulated clamps.

Harley sells the replacements.. I put Screamin' Eagle wires on my bike, and bought them from the parts dept. The zip ties are about 50 cents. Simple.

Here's the part number...
CABLE STRAP, PLUG IN (PACK OF 2) - 10177.

I should have looked it over a little better before getting the wires,I thought the wires just snapped on the retainers like a car. I want something reusable.

Get a regular tie wrap and put it on the wire, snug it up then feed the pig tail through the bracket hole, get another tie wrap and cut the pig tail off so you just have the head of the tie wrap, put that on the pig tail of the tie wrap that you put through the hole

The rear support you can use part of a large tie wrap, poke two holes through it with a soldering iron, and use two small tie wraps to tie the leads together.

You can also get a bit creative and take a different road; I sleeved my wires and ran them behind the bracket. The plug caps are at right angles to the heads, that way

Since I was real close to a dealer today I just got what it originally had on it,the next time I change the wires I will do something more creative. The $1.12 I spent was the least I ever spent at a dealer.
