Default Shock Settings

I cant find any guidelines in the owners manual or shop manual for shock settings based on weight load. 07 Dyna Low Rider. Set on 4 now, do you go to 5 with 2-up?

Depends a lot on the weight of the riders, you just have to see what works best for you, I had stock shocks on 3 solo, but I'm 6'3' 240. But I have since chucked the stock shocks.

just set it where your comfortable and call it real. i think its all based more on preference for the rider than on weight. even w/500 lbs on the bike i'm sure you can't damage it by riding it set on one. set it where you like it and call it good.

I can find nothing so maybe i am looking in the wrong spot? are there numbers? how do you know what setting its on? Anyone know what it is set on when it is delivered?

Out of the box they are set on 3 Rooster. Click it two times to the right to go to the softest setting, which is 1 and click it two times to theleft from stock to 5 which is the stiffest setting. My FXD actuall had the little stickers on them telling with the numbers printed on it. I have mine set at one and have had no problems since I ride solo all the time.
