I'm trying the remove the plastic cover that houses the main fuse in the 2016 Low Rider but just pulling the tabs on each side is not working. Is the a trick to this thing? I'm installing new handlebars and read that removing the main fuse is recommended as a preventive measure.

It says where it is and it shows the diagram but that tittle plastic cover from hell is not referenced at all. By the way, I got the manual a couple of weeks ago and might be the single must important purchase I've made for the bike. (except in this case).

Not the service manual, the Owner's Manual. I didn't get one with my used bike, but usually the OM details fuse replacement pretty good. I can't help directly as my bike doesn't have the same covers. Mine are held on with screws.

Only the battery side (that says Low Rider) is held on with a screw.
The fuse panel side does not have a screw...it has a plastic tab on the underside of the cover.
