For sure, I have nothing better to do than make up stories about my experiences with bikes and post them on here so some random anonymous person can challenge my integrity. All the **** I was doing was rendering an opinion that its high time that Harley started addressing engineering flaws instead of just kicking the can down the line.

Calm down big fella. To say that the sporty shakes 4 times as much as a dyna is just a little bit of a stretch to say the least. Facts are they both shake a little by design. An i can see why the dyna would shake a little more but not 4 times as much. Dynas pack a bigger motor and frame and mount wise they favor the sporty. So yea they would shake some more. But if you did have a dyna that shook that much more then one of your sportys then chances are you had other issues going on. I have owned both. Both are great bikes btw. Im not racist toward the sportys in anyway jfyi.

A good way for me to stay calm is to not be called a liar by some know-it-all. Doing that to my face would result in a less wordy response. I clearly stated that I fixed the issue, so I understand that their were issues with my bike. A quick search will result in a clear pattern that there are issues with a LOT of em, and that really isnt acceptable in this day and age. Which, IS ALL I WAS SAYING. ****.

Motorcycles are like martinis. A little shake is good. To much shake is not good.

There was a post (rumored to be a Harley insider) on another forum saying that the current M8 models are a 1 year only introduction to the M8 engine, as all three production lines (Tour, Dyna, Softail) will get the new "modular" chassis in 2018, and the Sportster will continue as 1200's to make room for the Street. That should **** off all the current M8 owners, as always I will never buy a first year redesign of anything Harley-Davidson makes. Interesting times... I am obsessed with what the new bikes will be like.

Everybody take a deep breath and step away from the keyboard. There's no reason for all the arguing. Respect everyone else's opinion. That goes for everyone here.

This could be one reason Dyna's shake and vibrate. My front motor mount at 39k

Maintenance is key.
