Not my first rodeo with adapting softail bits to dyna's-but you already know that multi I do appreciate your wheel expertise. Existing Dyna hub is attached to a mag, so a used dyna laced wheel or hub will be required when the time comes. Taking it slow on the mods for now, famous last words right? I do just wanna ride the mid glide a while. Who knows maybe I'll leave the bike alone, but those mags could fetch some decent loot

The 4th is a suzi GZ250. My sister decided to take up motorcycle riding and thats her trainer. We're keeping the 250 here in Sonoma till she has her MSF course, then that thing is outa here! Doing some initial lessons up and down the block so she doesn't go into her MSF class cold. Just clutch friction zone and balance stuff-don't want to teach any bad habits. She says maybe she'll buy a harley for her 60th. Hope she gets into it. Her husband is also getting back into riding.

My bad...poor choice of words since it is very plain that your new FXD is quipped with non re-moveable hubbed "Mags" ("non re-moveable" if anyone wants to use the wheel again)

I fixed it... "Re-lace to another Dyna Hub?"

As you know, multiple rear 21mm wide bearing hubs will work (your 07 FXD uses 1"x21mm)...quick list...
2000-07 Dyna
2000-08 Touring
2000-07 Sporty
2000-06/07 softail (depending on model)

Good to know-I laced a 2008 rear dyna hub to my other 2007 FL conversion and had some issues with spacers-all sorted out but I thought the only difference with 06,07 to 08 was 25mm axle and spacers. Well I guess I thought wrong. Thanks!
