That's a great attitude! Best of luck on an outcome that makes you giggle.
Stock sells, everything else sits. It's not just the modifications, it's what you routinely find as a result of the modifications that's undesirable. I'm not saying it's true in this case, but many times, modification work is rife with evidence that the previous owner should have never picked up a tool. Being a 2006 isn't helping you either. The whole no dowel pins in the primary and trans case is a hindrance to some buyers.
Good luck with the sale.

2006 FXDI

not sure of the slip ons
bike runs perfectly and gives me no problems
When I put a bike up for sale, I look up my bike in the NADA bluebook and price it right in the middle. It ends up being lower but thats where I start.
I can't speak for others, obviously, but I have less than zero interest in an M8 Dyna. I would pay more for a clean carbureted Dyna than a much newer (hypothetical, used) M8 Dyna.
Me neither, maybe after 5yrs when they've worked all the bugs out of that motor. I tend to hang on to a bike after making em mine. Only reason I sold my RK is it was getting too heavy for me in the mountains. It had a 96" and it was a screamer. Forget carb'd bikes for me, been there done that and you can have em.
The Dyna appears to be the last with putting newer motors on them. Mine hasn't had the 103 for very long. You dont need them on these light frames.
