Those of you have done custom dual disc lines, how did you handle the tee? I'm starting to research the parts needed for my conversion and there are a lot of ways to handle the line split.
Curious to see what y'all did, how you like it, & if you would change anything.
I must say I'm not real interested in some semi-custom "+/- X inches" pre-assembled type of line or kit. I really want to dig in and make it my own.
Summit racing has all you need. Will take some time finding all the pn# a -4 tee is all you need do split the line on a non abs. Not sure what entailed if you have a Abs?
my lines have been goodridge all three times and the tee was flared.
the tees have a screw hole for the trees
I've been leaning real heavy toward Goodridge. I have good experiences with their pre-fab lines.
That's one of the other tees I was considering but wasn't.sure what fittings it took. I think inverted flare knocks it out of the running, unfortunately.
Stahlbus bleeder's and their vacuum bleeder bottle thing, the brakes bleed from dry to rock solid in under 30 minutes from start to finish. I was stunned I thought I would be bleeding for days, the last time I bleed a double banjo setup from dry it took hours.
Any good sized aftermarket parts catalog like Custom Chrome or Drag Specialties will have extensive selections of both ready made kits and customizable brake line components by a couple brand names. I make up all my lines, don't think I've ever used a ready made factory replacement.
These guys have some trick stuff and will make to your specs is wanted.

Chris,
Some stuff I forgot to add... Earls and Goodridge banjos are a different width than factory and you must use the matching bolts, verify the banjo width before you buy anyone's banjos as all the aftermarket manufactures screw with the width so you have to buy there bolts, this is critical for double banjos.
