exhaust question

i have a covington hot rod 2 into 1 exhaust on my 2006 street bob. Love the sound and look, but the heat on my leg is nasty. Anyone have a suggestion to reduce risk of burns other than changing pipes.

These guys can build you an effective heat shield. a good description of what you need and a good paper template is all they need.

Could try exhaust wrap. Doesn't look great on every pipe or every bike. But it would work.

Do you have any sort of fuel processor installed? If you are using the stock tune you're likely running really lean, which isn't going to help your heat issues
