I'm running the Terminal Velocity 11 alpha n (plug&play) The only problem with the unit isTerry Componentsdoesn't really describe all the real ride benifits it provides. I shopped for 2 months-read everthing about all of them. The tech gurus all told me the TV11 was best for the closed loop systems. It was definitly their 1st choice. Calif. riders have ran them for years but it seems folks on this forum either never heard of it or just stay with what they know. You might want to ask around about it since you got a "cloosed loop system"-at least during cruse RPMs. IMHO its the bomb!
It's a shame. There is really not another state I would want to live in...California offers so much. Great riding, great beaches, great mountains, great weather, great girls , but the big government is making it hard to take.
Back to subject, I am getting a Big sucker for fathers day and will have to see how it runs with just the download. If it is to bad I will porbably go with the fuelpak.
I installed PCIII and created my own custom map using numbers derived from a Ouiga Board. It runs like crap and gets 4 MPG, but it backfires really cool flames at night!
I just added a Big Sucker, and Python 2into1 pipe on my 07 Lowrider. I went with the Thundermax with auto tune and am very happy with it. You have to add a map to it that is close to your setup and then auto tune fine tunes it while you ride. No dyno time is necessary. The engine idles better, it runs smoother and cooler and pulls harder. When the bike was stock it would stall pretty easily when taking off from a stop, now it is much more resistant to stalling.
hope you don't live in Cali...No serts allowed thanks to the Hippy legislators
You sure about that? I bought mine in CA less than 4 months ago, at the time they told me they could still sell them for racing purposes but they would not tune them. The indi's will still do it though. My local HD dealer doesn't dyno tune anyway.
