More detail would help, which Dyna model fender would you like to install. Saying that, "most" fenders from 2006 on will interchange with a few exceptions, Fat Bob is too wide for the Street Bob and possibly Wide Glide has something going on with it to complicate things, not sure.

talking about a Street Bob to Street Bob. I'd like to put the '17 rear fender on an '11. mine has cracked and been repaired twice so I was thinking about a no mounted brake light option.

If should be a fairly straight forward swap. I'll be selling a chopped fender setup in the next couple weeks when my full fender gets back from paint. Off of a 16 fxdls but same as the street bob.

Both the 2011 and 2016 (Street Bob) frames are the same part number, which would tell me that the fender would mount to the same locations and have the same bolt hole pattern. So, unless the MoCo changed the frame in 2017, I would imaging that the fenders would mount the same exact way. I haven't seen any other major changes to any of the other Dyna's that's would that would require any changes to the way the fenders mount within their same model line-up.
