i looked at this 07 today...it came from calif.....had some what i think was salt damage to the inner front whee....the small inner circle where the forks hook on..the chrome was coming off...and then it had no battery cover, and the one hand grip was bad..i did not get it...the 06 is really a nice bike i have posted...but would not feel confident mechanically riding down the pavement..i will keep looking
Yesterday you said you bought the 2007 today you say you are still looking. Between that and having two threads and two forum names are you just trolling?

The 2006 Dyna was the first with the new frame, the larger-diameter and stiffer fork tubes, the six-speed transmission, and the updated hydraulic cam chain tensioners. Yeah, it still had the 88, but I can't really tell the difference in power between my 88 and my 96-inch.
All Harleys seem to have issues with the inner primary bearing. Yup, it was worse on the '06 Dyna.
The rotor/stator issue? It needs to be taken care of, because it can leave you stranded without any warning. I got lucky when it happened to me, because I was only a block away from an indy Harley shop. At the same time, I was unlucky, because since the repair was done by an indy shop rather than a dealer, Harley refused to give me any compensation. Harley has covered this many times when the work was diagnosed and performed at a dealership.
ok..this one i will try to get.....harley will finance....i get on may 8..the guy said he would hold it..i begged him too...said he would...2007 dyna wide glide..14000 miles lots of extras on it
When I switched from forwards back to mids, I did the baker bearing and had a friend weld up the stator bolts. It's a hassle doing the IPB. If you find a 2006 that you love, then maybe it's worth it, but an '07 is going to give you a bigger engine and won't need those annoying fixes.
