Changes to the '06 Dyna
reduced clutch lever effort
new single piece 46mm throttle body
new fuel injectors
redesigned cylinder heads-newintake and exhaust ports
redesigned valve seals
O2 sensors-closed loop fuel injection
no catalysts
active intake system
new engine cases, external oil lines eliminated
more material added to motor mounts
new cam plate
new hydraulic cam chain tensioners-auto mechanical primary chain tensioner
new roller cam chains
new crankshaft splines
increased load carrying capacity cam bearings
new oil pump asemble
6 speed transmission
helical 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 6th gears
new needle bearings for 6th gear mainshaft
new double row output bearing
new transmission case
new clutch shell
starter ring moved to inboard on clutch hub
new engine sprocket/compensator assembly
new rotor assembly
new inner primary housing
new engine to primary gasket
new primary cover
new starter motor
new frame-29 degree neck angle
repositioned motor mounts
integrated fork lock/ignition switch
new seat pan
new swingarm-wider to accomodate OE 160/70 B 17" tire
new axle adjusters
new triple clamps
now uses FLT/V-Rod style steering bearing adjuster
new 49 mm forks
new headlamp and mounting
nw handlebars, clamps and risers
new 10 spoke cast wheels
new 1" front and rear axles
new rear brake caliper support bracket
