Slip on causing
MoCo really needs to issue a TSB or voluntary recall to address this issue. With the apparent sample size of hard start LRS bikes it shouldn't take much for a couple regional service/test engineers to identify the root cause and determine a permanent fix. Could be as simple as a ECU reflash assuming MChad's fix & results are typical for the breed.

Hi everyone,
Got a call from Harley and found out that it was a faulty voltage regulator! The Harley shop replaced the part immediately and provided exceptional customer service. Everyone was right in that the slip-ons had nothing to do with the battery dying. Thanks to everyone who provided a response!
