Well, I finally figured out how to post my pics! Here is my baby. 05 FXDWGI, Stage 1, VH Stright Shots HS, SE Intake, detachable sissy bar, black cherry pearl, and plenty more when time and money allow!
Springer, I think it handles fine. I like to stretch out and cruise. I have gotten it up to 85-90, I thought it felt all right. It isn't a rice rocket, and I know I am not going to throw it into corners,go 120mph, etc. It is very comfortable to me and I love it. It is my first Harley, and now I see what I was missing.
Sweet looking machine Louie
I love the color also. Mine would have been black cherry pearl
but the dealer I was using only had black cherry pearl with EFI
and Ole HotRod Dave wanted the CV Carb, so the Black Pearl
right beside it had the CV Carb and I really liked the Black Pearl
just as good when they sit side by side so guess which one I got?
PS: This is my first Harley too [sm=americanasmiley.gif]
From one wide glide owner to another, Great choice. i dig the color as well. Mine is a 2000 in black with the pin strip flame on the tank. Going to get a custom paint soon so i dont look like anyone esle though. ENJOY IT And be safe.
I know what you mean about finally experiencing what you have been missing. When I got my Springer this year, I couldn't have been happier. My only regret was that I wish that I could have gotten it sooner. Enjoy the ride.
