Default Setting the Clock

Just to make a long story short...My speedo finally went out and I ordered a new one. I installed it and I noticed yesterday it came with a clock function. Since it didn't come on my 06 as standard equipment, there are no instructions on how to set it. Any ideas ?

Use the trip function. Scroll through to the clock. Hold the trip function till it blinks. Press to desired hour, hold till minutes blink. Press to desired number, hold. Done

He's totally wrong. You hold the trip function once your at the clock till it starts flashing. Then in this sequence using a combination of the blinkers, hazard button, and starter: Left, right, left, left, right, hazard, hazard, right, left, right, start. Once the bike starts stand on one leg and recite this 3 times: **** **** ****ity **** ****. And your done.
