Try using the Search Function to find your answer or go to the sub-forum that's designated specifically just for oil questions!

A service manual is a great tool to have. You can also find the answer in your owner's manual. If you don't have one you can get it here: https://www.harley-davidson.com/cont...rs-manual.html

Did some quick Google searches for you.
3 quarts - Engine
24oz - Transmission
26 oz - Primary
If you're changing your engine oil only add about 2.5 quarts and check level. Don't just dump all 3 quarts in. If you really want to be safe and your current fluid levels are correct, measure what comes out and then put that amount back in.

Buy 3, pour in 2 1/2. 3 qt is for dry a engine,, an oil and filter change is not considered making the engine dry.
You can log-in here and always have your Owners Manual;

I fill mine to 2qts, run it for a bit then check it. I've done the 2 1/2qt routine and over-filled it.
