'14 Wide Glide security system install
I know this is somewhat of a dead horse around here, buuuut! In searching for info on doing the smart security system installs all I could find was mention of TSSM/TSM modules and not the newer BCM security Axis module. I am referencing the newer system I believe on the dynas its '12 and up. The process of password learning the security module to the bikes ECM via the sequence of ignition key on-off, turn signals cycling etc.... is no longer valid. Apparently the HD digital tech II is now used for the ECM to recognize the new module. So what I've done is installed the siren kit and the antenna from the security kit (all under the seat) and will roll to the dealer with my non security module installed. Since its a dyna I can pop my left cover off right in the parking lot and swap the non security BCM with the security BCM and the tech will take it in and mate the module and program the fobs for 1/2 hr of labor (not sure how long the full install would take but i'm assuming an hour so I save $50 bones). just a heads up for folks with the newer style bikes that utilize the Axis BCM modules vice the TSM/TSSM modules.
