Default 2017 FXDLS - RR3 & PCV install question

Long time follower of the forum. First time poster.

This is my first time installing pipes/tuner and have a quick question.

Should i keep the o2 sensors installed in the pipe and the cables routed in the frame? From some of the pictures I see the PCV does not use the o2 sensors - it has those o2 optimizers instead.

My plan was to install the pipe first with the o2 sensors and go for a hop around the block....make sure i didnt screw it up, then install the PCV. But i guess there is no point if I should use the bung to plug up the hole.

I sent a question to dynojet but an waiting to hear back.

Thoughts? either way pics coming.

I installed the PCV first on the bike and ran it with the stock map, it's 1 of the 3 choices on the power commander site. They have one for the RR3 but in comparing the K and N one to the custom one it is richer more in the mid to top end range. I did use the o2 sensor resistors but I let the harness dangle from the stock pipe. Zip tied out of place of course. Rode it with the stock map, no changes but didn't ride it very long.
Then put the RR3 on, uploaded the map from their website, didn't ride it very much since I'd planned on going to the dealer for the custom dyno tune.
The pcv doesn't use the o2 sensors as you said. And the only thing that can be changed is fuel, not ignition, and can't raise the redline either.

I left the sensors in the pipe, just unplugged for the first few days after I installed the PC5 just because I wasn't able to find the bung blockers that came with my Bassani back when I bought it. Picked up another set and installed them this weekend, pulled the o2 sensors to clean everything up. Either way will work fine, seems more a matter of personal preference if anything.
