Bolt: Identify the size? Brake shoulder bolt
Hi guys, looks like a bolt is backordered here in Canada on the westcoast, so I'm hoping to find the size of this bolt that holds the splitter between the brake cables. This bolt is under the headlight that holds this nice shiny chrome module (see pic).
When I ordered it from the dealership, they couldn't find the size on their computers. I'm just hoping I can get one at a hardware store possibly before the weekend to get a ride in, but I have no clue what size it is. My original one fell off, so my brake lines are hanging very sloppy right now.

Is #2 what your looking for? #4741A > 1/4-20 X 1" socket head. Seems your parts guy doesn't know how to use his parts book. I suggest you use a very small amount of blue (medium strength) loctite on threads.

The guys at my local dealership are lazy. I had already purchased the bolt through them, so there was no reason why they couldn't tell me the size. I just think they had no clue how to look it up. this isn't the first time I've had issues with them at the counter. Only the manager there eems to know what they r doing.
