Default Small leak, need help identifying issue.

Hey guys, looking for assistance identifying this leak. I'm very new at this so any help is appreciated...

2017 Dyna Street Bob with about 1900 km's. It was serviced at 1600 km's with no issues. Looks like it could be transmission fluid?

Could be the clutch cable got loose where it enters the tranny cover. I think you can check it with a 1/2 inch open end wrench. There is an o-ring there that seals that area when it is tight.

From that angle it looks like the shop forgot to replace the O-ring on the tranny drain plug or the plug is loose.

rk classic.

You could do the obvious and get down and look up. Might need to wipe up a little and recheck after a spin around the block. That could have been the chew spit from your girlfriend for all we know.

Check oil filter is properly hand tight, and could be a bit of oil when they put new filter on, finding its way to the bottom, best thing get it on a lift and wipe everywhere, and see if it still does the same thing.

I would take it back and let the dealer /service check that plug. Worse case scenario it was stripped when the plug was reinstalled, best case just loose or the "o" damaged when reinstalled. How far to the dealer and do you have the copy of the R.O.?

Let the dealer figure out where the leak is coming from.

Wipe under the bike with your hands and see if you feel a wet spot. Maybe it was on the ground already when you parked?
