Suede, OP shouldn't even have that issue you mentioned if he is running the stock Fat Bob setup with forward controls, he should be able to mount that lever right on and kick it.

I bought mine from M&M cycles which had a vtwin part # it fits right on my 11 fatbob with forward controls, no issues with fitment on the shifter shaft.
