From Buell to Dyna??
Im thinkin of gettin rid of my Buell X1 and gettin a Dyna. I dont know toooo much about them can anyone give me some feedback on them?
Check my Buell though in the meantime!
Having lived down there years ago, I can say you may miss your Buells' quick and easy handling and performance going to a Dyna. I started HD's on a 100HP Sporty, then a heavily modified T-Sport and now my current ride is a lightly modified Fat Bob. Looking at your Buell, I can see you like to personalize your ride...that's good. Easy to do on a Harley.
I've ridden a few Buells; the Uly was my favorite. As far as Dyna's, I much prefer touring on them to the ponderous but better appointed FLH's. You buying new or used? You plan on motor mods? Just wanna slow down and cruise now? Wife has her own Low Rider and we've toured a lot on our bikes (30+ states, 6 provinces) but detest city driving. Of the current Dyna's the Street Bob is probably the most bang for the buck. My personal favorite would have been the Low Rider S with the 110 motor and improved brakes and shocks; but I understand they're sold out and discontinued now...2018's coming out soon; who know's what'll be in that crop.

Thanks Sharkey,
I do enjoy modding, tweakin, tinkering with automotive **** lol! I was looking into the street bob and doing some mods to it. Living in Vancouver the traffics HORRIBLE city riding here SUX!! Cruising around, long rides is what im more into. The Buells fun, its nice, but its not a sport bike and its not a cruiser lol. Im looking for something to customize and cruise but still be fast and fun.
One thing to watch for is certain years had the risers integral with the top tree; severe vibes thru the bars as a result. And I wouldn't have an '06
