Default Rebuilding a 2005 Dyna Superglide
I'm I'm rebuilding a 2005 Dyna super glide sport and it needs a new front end. I put a 2004 wide glide front end on it. The super glide runs a 19 inch wheel and the wide glide runs a 21 inch wheel. Which one should I put on this bike?

Pretty sure the hub from a Super Glide is gonna be too narrow for the wide glide trees.

Otherwise, whichever you like.

I've got a 17" x 4.5" on my wide glide. Others have run anything from 16-23+

Got it thanks. It definitely needs a new front end. Was in a wreck. And the super glide is definitely too slim. I guess I'm just making sure that everything is going to line up OK. If I use a tire that's not 19 inches.

The rim and tire aren't an issue as long as the hub/axle/bearings/spacers are correct. Several ways to approach a swap.

What tire size do 'you' want to use... what looks good to you... if you want that 19"... then buy a wideglide hub and lace that 19 to it.

That is a very good looking bike. I would like a nice fat front tire. Possibly a 16".

I'm running FXDWG trees with stock length FLSTC tubes & legs on my '02 FXD.

FatBob trees and fender, Wideglide sliders and hub, FXDC fork tubes, FLHTCU 16" profile rims w/custom Buchanan spokes.
