Default Bassani RR3 baffle removal FXDB
Just picked up a RR3 a couple weeks ago, love the sound but wouldn't mind it a little louder/deeper. I have a stock 103, has anyone removed the packing on the baffles and have a before or after video?

Louder.... Yes.

Deeper.... Doubtful....

I've heard that Thrashin pipes are the same, you could call them and see if one of their baffles would work in there to make it sound deeper

Pulled the packing and re-installed the baffle on my RR2 - louder, just a hair deeper tone. Still sounds like a Bassani though.

Not with removing just the packing, ran great and even better once I finally installed a tuner. Now, if you take the whole baffle out - it's insanely loud and a definite low end power loss...

why would anyone even pull the baffle? nothing to be gained
