I like that. I've got a similar bag that I've considered doing the same thing if I need more room than what my saddle bags will fit, mostly for easy access things such as a rain suit. it's nice to see how you did it. Good photos. Thanks.
Thanks for the pics. I'm going to look into this for sure. I really like the look. I have the standard quick detatch sissy bar though. I wonder if its too short?
Nice man!
I have a 24 in from the forge inbound for my wide glide,
There customer service has been impeccable, I called them about making a custom cut for the pad bracket on the back,
- they cut bracket it to desired height
- mailed it out to me so I could cut a design into it
-checked up on status of MY work to make sure I received the bracket
-I received an email from them on Monday letting me know they received it back and he would get it on the product line, put her all together, powder coat it, and get it back to me
Can't wait to see the final her soon hopefully
Ive been planning on going a similar route though with one of my rucks for a bag,
Looks Good!
Thanks for sharing this. I'm definitely going to look into one of these. I too have been looking for a bag for on my sissy bar and I'm not completely sold on the smaller roll style bags that are out there and i definitely dont want one of the huge travel packs. I've been using an old gym duffle bag, bungee strapped to the sissy bar which is a real pain to get into unless i unstrap the bag....makes stops for gas/snacks/drinks a real ordeal. One of these may just fit the bill and i'd be able to use it for other things as well.
Nope no wear marks. Bag has rubber on the bottom. Though I have been thinking about adding a fender bib.
Haven't seen any waer yet, though I have only used this set up a couple of times for longer rides. With this in mind, has anyone tried Plasti Dip on the rear fender?
