Good afternoon. I'm having an issue I'm still not sure I want to repair yet....& hoping y'all can help me.
I'm have a 1999 dyna convertible, stock as far as I know, 37000 miles. I took it into a shop 3 weeks ago for a noise from the lower end, they found the outer cam support bearing are gone, and almost everything with it. After doing some looking he says the runout is .0035 and to basically come get your bike we can't do anything with it. So after paying almost $300 & looking at parts I still don't know if I should just buy the S&S Cam Chest Kit and repair it or not. What do y'all think? I have done all and any repair work that ever been needed to my bikes, just don't know about this one.
